Be a super hero for our koalas, get active outdoors and meet like-minded people! We need volunteers on Saturday 28 April to help plant 1500 koala food trees. Details below …

Program:

9:00 am Welcome, introduction to tree planting for wildlife corridors and get planting!
10:30 am Morning tea
12:00 pm Down tools and celebrate!

Venue: Corner of Kings Road and Grandchester Mount Mort Road, Mount Mort QLD 4340

Directions: Drive down Grandchester Mount Mort Road until it becomes Alpers Road. Turn right into Kings Rd and follow signs to tree planting.

Equipment and gloves are provided but please remember to bring water, wear sturdy covered shoes, a hat and sunscreen.

Supported by Energex, Ipswich City Council and Queensland Department of Environment and Science, this wildlife corridor will provide an important contribution to the recovery of threatened koala populations. A massive group of volunteers planted trees here one year ago and we will extend this critical wildlife corridor to help achieve our vision for an abundant and biodiverse Aroona.
