More Green Time Less Screen Time

Supported by the Queensland Office of Women, More Green Time Less Screen Time held on 6 March 2018 was an exclusive Queensland Women’s Week event to explore the health benefits of getting more nature into our daily routines.

The program included:

7:45 am Introduction to Japanese forest bathing with Charlotte Rose
8:05 am Dr Theresa Scott from UQ presents research demonstrating the health and well-being benefits of connection with nature
8:30 am An inspiring talk from Cate Storey of Nature Play Queensland about her life long passion for getting kids active outdoors

In addition to the amazing line-up of passionate women speakers was delicious healthy nature inspired food from Yes Joy, Bee One Third and Indie Treats. Hosted in the beautiful Brisbane Botanic Gardens, the event was an opportunity for everybody to step away from their desks and into nature!
