Supported by the Queensland Office of Women, More Green Time Less Screen Time was an exclusive Queensland Women’s Week event to explore the health benefits of getting more nature into our daily routines. Hosted in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, on Tuesday 6 March, the program included:
7:45 am Introduction to Japanese forest bathing with Charlotte Rose
8:05 am Dr Theresa Scott from UQ presents research demonstrating the health and wellbeing benefits of connection with nature
8:30 am An inspiring talk from Cate Storey of Nature Play Queensland about her life long passion for getting kids active outdoors
In addition to the amazing line-up of passionate women speakers was delicious healthy nature inspired food from Yes Joy, Bee One Third and Indie Treats. This event was for everybody to benefit from the good things in nature!
