‘Waterfalls’ provides habitat for a number of threatened and vulnerable species. The land contains stands of tall open-forest, with the vegetation mapped as core koala habitat which enhances the movement corridor across the west of the Caboolture River catchment. Species of conservation significance found in the property include the endangered swift parrot (Lathamus discolor), as well as priority species including long-nosed potoroo, threatened tusked frog, gliders, short-beaked echidna and platypus.
