Annual Review 2024-25
We’re proud to share this year’s Annual Review 2024-25— a reflection on two decades of protecting and restoring Queensland’s precious landscapes.
This year marked 20 years of QTFN operations, and with it, the incredible collective impact made possible through our partners, landholders, Traditional Owners, volunteers, supporters, and communities.
Inside the review, you’ll discover how we’ve:
- Protected 101,587 hectares of high-value habitat through our Revolving Fund
- Restored more than 500 hectares of private land in the past five years
- Planted >301,000 trees and expanded critical koala habitat across South East Queensland
- Used innovative technologies—from thermal drones to environmental DNA—to reveal new species records and enhance monitoring
- Managed almost 2,000 hectares at Aroona Station, working towards being a living demonstration of biodiversity and cattle coexisting
- Engaged communities through citizen science and education events
- Strengthened our partnership with Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation through our work at Daintree Lot 83
This year’s review celebrates real progress—and the people who make it possible. It also highlights the path forward, as we continue to work towards a resilient, biodiverse, and productive Queensland where nature and people thrive.
