We are delighted to congratulate our Chair of the Board, Bruce Cowley, on his appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM)—a prestigious honour that recognises exceptional service and achievement across the nation. This accolade reflects Bruce’s significant and enduring contributions to business, law, and tertiary education.
We are privileged to benefit from Bruce’s deep expertise, extensive experience, and leadership as we pursue our mission to protect, restore, and steward Queensland’s unique natural environment. He practised as a corporate lawyer for nearly four decades and is a highly respected authority on governance. Bruce has published two book on governance which offer invaluable guidance to modern board directors navigating complex organisational landscapes.
We are immensely proud to acknowledge Bruce’s voluntary service and leadership on the Queensland Trust for Nature Board, and we thank him for his dedication, vision, and passion for making a meaningful difference.
