Gifts in Wills
More than half of Australians do not have a legally binding will; if you’re one of them, here’s your sign to make one. It can only take around 10 minutes and if you ever change your mind, you can update your will as often as you like for free through our partnership with Every Will.
After making sure their loved ones are provided for, more and more Australians (around 1 in 5) are choosing to include a gift to charity in their will.
This type of giving, which doesn’t cost anything during your lifetime, has a powerful impact on Queensland Trust for Nature, the wildlife and private land we protect, and nature we restore.
By including a gift in your will – no matter the size – you can play a meaningful role in safeguarding nature in Queensland and create a legacy that reflects the principles you lived by.
To help make this type of giving easier for our supporters, we’ve partnered with EveryWill, a trusted online will platform, where you can write your will for free, in as little as 15 minutes.
We know including a gift in your will is a big decision, so we want to reassure you that it’s completely optional. You can still write your will for free, and make provisions for your loved ones, regardless of whether you choose to donate.
Note: Queensland Trust for Nature does not provide legal advice. Any referral to an Online Will provider does not constitute legal advice, or an endorsement that an Online Will is suitable for your needs. Individuals using Online Wills should seek legal advice before making any changes or updates to their Wills.
